There is never enough time in the day. Face to face time is so precious that I have increasingly moved direct instruction out of the classroom and onto YouTube. My students get the lecture at home, and then class time is reserved for discussion, debate, shouting at each other, etc. Check out some of the videos I've done below. I’ve also started using flip videos to support professional learning, and I’m now working with Global Online Academy to build a blended learning platform for teachers to learn UbD planning in an engaging, collaborative way.
